Ryt-way Food Products Company has an excellent quality program in place from the time raw ingredients and packaging arrive at our warehouse until finished product is shipped to your distribution center.

QUALITY ASSURANCE : This department oversees the quality program at Ryt-way Food Products Company and is responsible for specifications and procedures. Quality Assurance works closely with regulatory agencies including FDA, USDA and State of Minnesota as well as Kashruth organizations.

RECEIVING: All items received at Ryt-way Food Products Company are inspected and sampled by our trained, in house Quality Control staff. Items received remain in a "not released" status and can not be used in production until testing is completed and they are approved by Quality Control. All ingredients are used base on oldest manufacturing date and are monitored for age.

PACKAGING: Line operators are responsible for product quality and are trained in good manufacturing practices, weight control and other requirements relative to each unique product. The quality control staff monitor production lines and evaluate the finished products.

SHIPPING: Trailers or containers and finished pallets are inspected prior to being loaded for shipment. Product is shipped based on oldest manufactured date and finished product is monitored for age to maximize shelf life.   Below are some of the Ryt-way Food Products Company's Quality Assurance/Control programs and accomplishments.
